Southwest Climate Podcast

Tune in each month for a lively discussion of weather and climate in Arizona and New Mexico onthe Southwest Climate Podcast, a joint collaboration by the Southwest Climate Change Network (SWCCN) and the Climate Assessment for the Southwest (CLIMAS), both based at the University of Arizona. Host Zack Guido, CLIMAS associate staff scientist, and Mike Crimminsand Gregg Garfin, professors and extension specialists with the University of Arizona and CLIMAS affiliates, describe the current conditions, including water supply, drought status, temperature trends, and more. Then they expand the conversation to analyze the causes and consequences of climate changes in the Southwest and what they mean for us, which often means describing phenomenon far removed from our region.
