At the Climate Assessment for the Southwest (CLIMAS), Zack conducts research on climate change and writes extensively about climate change issues and impacts for public audiences. Zack has an academic background in paleoclimate and surface processes and professional experience in water resource development and planning. Zack also directs Terra Resource Development International, a 501c3 non-profit organization that helps impoverished and rural communities in Bolivia develop healthy and long-lasting water supplies, particularly for communities vulnerable to water shortages instigated by climate change.
